Politics – Not my Thing
Yeah… when it comes to talks about politics, I kind of zone out involuntarily because it isn’t really my thing. I did rant when I heard about GMA’s very expensive dinner in New York and saw her sons’ superb houses in the USA but that’s just the tax payer in me. You see, I hate paying taxes especially because I know that my hard earned money is just going to the politicians’ billboards and commercials grrrr!!! My blood pressure is rising just thinking about it.
Anyway, the May 2010 election is fast approaching, my thing or not, voting is my right and responsibility as a Filipino. If I want change in this country, that change should start from me. I should be more aware of what’s happening outside “ME” and focus on getting to know our leaders so that I can vote responsibly. So, shall we get to know Noynoy Aquino?
